The inspections program provides enforcement of the North Carolina Fire Prevention Code and City Code ordinances that help prevent the loss of life or injury and property damage due to fire.
Fire inspectors and investigators receive extensive training and are state certified. They also work routinely to educate residents, special populations, and business owners on fire safety.
